Tip - Import Valentine_Project-1-Image.png and Valentine_Project-1-Cut.svg at the same time. Hold the Ctrl key to select both files. They will open together and in place.

Run engraving at 100mm/s Speed and 35% Power
The color sheets take a little more heat than black.

Run cut layers at 20mms Speed and 100% Power
Air assist would help keeping the cuts clean, but not required.

Put Names, Dates, Table Numbers, etc. on the band that is used for the stand.

Steps:
  1. Cut a piece of Posterboard slightly larger than the image you want.
  2. Lay it on table with the color side up.
  3. Adjust height(focus) to the top of material
  4. Open the Full SVG file.
    If asked to Resize, Say NO..
  5. Make sure the Lock is Locked and resize the image as needed.
  6. Hold the 'Shift' key and Select the text and a few hearts
  7. Select 'Fill' to see what you got
  8. Adjust Power and Speed.
  9. Deselect / Hold the 'Shift' key to Select a few other hearts
  10. Select 'Fill' to see what you got
  11. Adjust Power and Speed.
  12. Deselect / Hold the 'Shift' key to Select remaining hearts
  13. Select 'Fill'
  14. Adjust Power and Speed.
  15. Deselect / Select Outline next to image
  16. Adjust Power / Speed for Cutting
  17. Remove outer outline or lower the heat. You can cut that on another material
  18. 'Frame' your artwork to verify everything
  19. Hit Start


Steps:

  6. Set all layers to 'Line' in 'Layers' panel
  7. Uncheck the 'Show' box on all the layers
  8. Turn one layer on at a time and change the 'Mode' setting to 'Fill' and adjust the settings for the colors you want
  9. Move the 2 Outline layers to the bottom on the Layers list ('Mode' setting 'Line')
  10. Uncheck the box for 'Output' on the outer outline. You can cut this on another piece of material later.
  11. If you are nervous and just want to engrave the graphic first, you can uncheck the 'Output' checkbox on the other outline layer also. Uncheck the other layers and turn this one back on when you are ready to cut.
  12. 'Frame' your artwork to verify everything
  13. Hit Start

The Tuxedo Card Stock works real well with this. Thin, but has some body to it.
Has a nice finish and folds easily. The White box is Laser Printer Paper
The Red box is uCreate Mini Metallic Poster Board.
Comes in 10pc. multi-color packs for $5.00.

Resize the image to make the boxes the size you want.
The 'I Love You' Bitmap(PNG) can be removed easily
Use CUT settings above on the outline

Click on Image Above to Open in New Window or Tab
Right Mouse click on that image and select 'Save As' to save the file.
